Women Lying
Created by removing areas of previously applied charcoal from the paper, the female form was gradually revealed from the darkness. In some areas small amounts of chalk were added to further contrast the light and shade. |

Movement in Paint
A natural progression from the 'Life in Motion' theme. A selected Life in Motion drawing was styalised, taking only selected lines and marks from the original and reproducing them in paint. In the abstract result movement of the human form can still be seen. |
